Bacon and cheese casserole is a comforting, indulgent dish perfect for busy weeknights or cozy gatherings. Here’s a simple yet delicious recipe to guide you.

Ingredients:

- 2 cups cooked rice (preferably day-old for better texture)

- 200g bacon, crispy and crumbled

- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or a mix work well)

- 1/2 cup milk or heavy cream

- 1 small onion, diced (optional)

- 2 cloves garlic, minced

- Salt, pepper, and paprika to taste

- Butter for greasing the dish

Steps:

1. Preheat & Prep: Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease a baking dish with butter.

2. Sauté Aromatics: In a pan, cook diced onion and garlic until soft (about 3 minutes). Add crumbled bacon and cook for 1 more minute.
