Matcha Almond Cookies: A Simple Recipe Guide

Ingredients:

- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened

- ½ cup granulated sugar

- ¼ cup powdered sugar

- 1 large egg

- 2 tsp vanilla extract

- 2 cups all-purpose flour

- 2 tbsp matcha powder (high quality for vibrant color)

- ½ cup sliced almonds, toasted

- ¼ tsp salt

Instructions:

1. Preheat & Prep: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.

2. Cream Butter & Sugars: In a bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, and powdered sugar until fluffy. Add egg and vanilla; mix well.

3. Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk flour, matcha powder, and salt. Gradually add to wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

4. Fold in Almonds: Gently fold in toasted almonds.

5. Shape & Bake: Drop tablespoon-sized dough balls onto sheets, 2 inches apart. Flatten slightly. Bake 10–12 minutes until edges set. Cool on wire racks.
