The season of warm weather and blooming flowers has arrived. It is an ideal time for health preservation in this season. There are many ways to maintain health in spring, but what are the most important aspects?
Experts say: In our bodies, there are two key areas for spring health preservation: the fingers and the lower abdomen.
When spring arrives, you can often pinch and knead your fingers. On both sides of the fingers are the "well" points of the body's meridians. Each hand has six well points, which are generally the endpoints of the meridians.
Pat the abdomen once a week for detoxification
In the areas where there is the most fat on either side of the navel, or in areas where you can feel fatty lumps when you press them, use both palms to pat continuously with moderate force for ten minutes. Most people will develop red, purple, blue, black, or other colored bruise-like spots. This is the stagnation of internal cold, dampness, heat, and toxins. After patting, immediately drink a glass of warm water to accelerate detoxification. Pat once a week. After several consecutive sessions, you will find that the bruise-like spots gradually decrease, and eventually, they will hardly appear. This indicates that it is working.
Massage the abdomen at least 36 times a day
The lower abdomen is where cold energy loves to gather, so massaging it is crucial. Frequently use the Laogong point on the palm of your hand to massage the lower abdomen until it feels warm. This can nourish the original qi, replenish qi, nourish yin, and support yang. Therefore, make it a habit to massage the lower abdomen once in the morning, once at noon, and once in the evening. Start with 36 circles in a counter-clockwise direction, followed by a clockwise direction. The minimum is 36 circles, or a multiple of 36. The force of the massage should be moderate.
