A balanced daily diet requires adherence to the "four-rounding" method of nutrition.

Introduction: We all know about "rounding up" in mathematics, but what is the "rounding up method" in diet? Why is it said that diet should "round up"?

When we talk about the "rounding up method" in diet, "rounding down" refers to reducing fat, cholesterol, salt, and alcohol. "Rounding up" means increasing the intake of fiber-rich diets; plant-based proteins; foods rich in carotene, vitamins C and E; calcium-rich foods; and 6 to 8 glasses of water daily.

Why is that?

Rounding Down: Reduce fat, cholesterol, salt, and alcohol.

Reduce fat: Excessive fat intake can lead to obesity, fatty liver, high blood lipids, high blood pressure, high blood sugar, atherosclerosis, coronary heart disease, and other diseases. At the same time, obesity also puts pressure on various organs in the body.

Reduce cholesterol: Excessive cholesterol intake in the human body can lead to high cholesterol levels, causing atherosclerosis, which in turn can lead to diseases such as high blood pressure and cerebrovascular accidents.

Less salt: High blood pressure is related to a high-sodium diet. Too much salt can also increase the burden on the kidneys and cause kidney disease.

Less alcohol: Alcohol is decomposed, detoxified, and excreted by the liver. Drinking large amounts of alcohol inhibits the brain, is toxic to the liver, and can cause alcoholic liver disease.

Rounding Up: Increase the intake of fiber-rich diets, plant-based proteins, foods rich in carotene, vitamins C and E, calcium-rich foods, and 6 to 8 glasses of water daily.

Fiber-rich diet: Consuming more fiber-rich foods, such as whole grains, vegetables, and fruits, helps secrete digestive fluids, increases gastrointestinal motility, and promotes the excretion of cholesterol.

Plant-based protein: Plant protein is a type of protein with nutritional value comparable to animal protein, but it is easier to digest. Plant protein does not contain cholesterol or saturated fat and can also provide more healthy components such as dietary fiber, vitamin E, and unsaturated fats.

Papaya and Carrot Juice

Foods rich in carotene, vitamins C and E: These foods help with antioxidant activity, boost immunity, prevent cancer, and promote the balanced absorption of nutrients in the body.

Calcium-rich foods: Eating more calcium-rich foods, such as milk and soy products, helps prevent osteoporosis.

6 to 8 glasses of water daily: Drinking plenty of water, first, replenishes the water lost by the body, and second, ensures that the blood does not become too thick due to dehydration. Thick blood can lead to brain hypoxia, pigment deposition, and premature aging.
