A small dish that prevents cancer and nourishes the stomach.

Introduction: Cabbage is also known as head cabbage, white cabbage, or simply cabbage. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, cabbage is considered sweet in flavor and neutral in nature, and it affects the spleen and stomach meridians. It is believed to strengthen the spleen and nourish the stomach, relieve pain, strengthen bones and muscles, clear heat, and promote urination. The "Beiji Qianjin Yaofang" (Essential Formulas for Emergencies Worth a Thousand Gold) states: "Long-term consumption greatly benefits the kidneys, replenishes marrow and brain, benefits the five organs, and regulates the six fu-organs."

Modern medical analysis shows that cabbage is rich in vitamin C, vitamin E, fruit acids, fiber, carotene, and the trace element molybdenum. Cabbage contains a large amount of vitamin U-like substances, which are unparalleled in other vegetables. This substance was once extracted to make medicine for preventing and treating gastric and duodenal ulcers, possessing pain-relieving and ulcer-healing properties. Cabbage also contains a significant amount of vitamin E, which can enhance disease resistance.
