Steps for Pan-fried lotus root box

Prepare ingredients.

Add eggs, salt, five-spice powder, soda powder, and water to the flour and mix into a paste.

Just pick up the batter that can flow into a line with chopsticks.

Chop the meat into mashed meat, chopped green onion, minced ginger, salt, chicken essence, cooking wine, and soy sauce, and stir vigorously in one direction. (The ratio of meat filling is generally 3 fat and 7 lean. I use all lean meat, so I also add some quail eggs to it)

Mix well the meat filling and set aside.

Cut lotus root into slices about 0.5 mm.

Take a lotus root slice and put appropriate amount of the mixed meat filling on it.

Cover with another piece of lotus root and press lightly.

Make all lotus root boxes in turn.

Pour the oil into the pan and heat it to 50% heat, and hang the batter on the prepared lotus root box.

Put it in the pan and fry it until golden on both sides. Remove it, suck off the oil with oil suction, and serve on a plate.
