Glutinous rice rolls are a Hong Kong-style snack and a staple food. I first saw it in the pasta section of a large supermarket. After tasting it, I fell in love with it unconditionally. Later, when I went to Hong Kong, I also went to find this kind of glutinous rice roll. The taste was the same as that of the mainland. The outer skin was steamed buns and glutinous rice and peanuts were rolled inside. It was sweet and shaped like sushi.
Recently, I have been making pasta at home, and I suddenly remembered glutinous rice rolls, so I tried making it at home. The main ingredients have not changed, except that the peanuts have been replaced with red dates, wolfberries, and cashew nuts. It tastes just as good! It is also very nutritious. Lycium barbarum is used to nourish the liver, and spring is the best season to protect the liver.
