Leek Box
By BlaiseDicki
Last week, I was lucky enough to eat a loving leek box from my classmate's mother, which reminded me of all kinds of pasta food that I have not seen for a long time. So I made oil cakes, pies, steamed buns, and sesame flowers. This afternoon it was the turn of the leek box...
Recipe Recommendations
- flour 200g
- leek 300g
- fans 1 small
- eggs of 2
- shrimp skin appropriate amount
- vegetable oil appropriate amount
- sesame oil appropriate amount
- pepper oil appropriate amount
- salt appropriate amount
Steps for Leek Box

1
Put the flour into the container, add water little by little, and stir the flour with chopsticks. When most of the flour becomes flocculent, stop adding water, knead all the flour into a uniform and soft dough (about 5 minutes), and wrap it with plastic wrap.
2
Soak the vermicelli in hot water; wash the leeks and cut them into fine pieces; stir well to make two egg skins and chop them up (you can also fry them, but there is more oil, so eat less oil); Wait until the vermicelli is soft and chop them up, stir well with leeks, eggs, shrimp skins, sesame oil, pepper oil and vegetable oil, taste the stuffing, and add salt according to your taste.
3
Divide all dough into 5 doses; place a little flour on the plate, rolling out one dose at a time.
4
Determine the size of the rolled dough according to the diameter of the bottom of the pot. The diameter should not exceed the diameter of the pot. However, the corners of the box may break when baking; at the same time, the dough should not be too thin, otherwise the dough will break when adding more stuffing.
5
Put the stuffing on half of the dough, pay attention to the margin.
6
Fold the other half over and cover it into a box, pressing the bend tightly.
7
Use a plate to press along the curved edge.
8
Combine the cut edge into the next dose (note that when rolling out the last dose as round as possible, you can just bend the edge and press it directly with your hand, so that no dough will be left).
9
A flat-bottomed pan without oil, turn on medium heat (I use an electric stove, if you use a gas stove, just medium to low heat), and brown both sides until golden yellow.10

Don't use glass plates to hold raw boxes, otherwise they will stick; don't eat too much leeks at one time... If you want to eat next meal, just use the pan to heat it up.
