Forget which Japanese restaurant I used to eat beef spicy cabbage tofu pot, the slightly spicy feeling still has endless aftertaste. This taste was enough to make me happy for a long time, but I finally couldn't hold it anymore. I want to make it myself. Unexpectedly, the taste was surprisingly good. Although it doesn't say that the taste of those years is resurrecting today, it is still quite similar. Enough, enough.
Anyway, in fact, the key to this dish lies in the choice of ingredients. Good beef is served with a slightly sweeter spicy cabbage, tofu should be made from farmhouse tofu, and fragrant sesame oil should be used. Drink it with the soup. It is slightly spicy and will definitely hold it. If you don't believe me, keep reading.

Steps for Beef tofu pot

1
Put sesame oil directly into the pan, add chopped garlic, stir-fry until the aroma is fragrant, add the beef, and stir-fry until the meat changes color. Add appropriate amount of cooking wine, soy sauce, white sugar, salt, and chili noodles, add water and simmer for 10 minutes. Add spicy cabbage and simmer for another 5 minutes. Finally, add the tofu. In order to better taste, the tofu does not need to be cut into pieces with a knife and directly pinch it into the appropriate size with your hands. Add the chopped green onions and simmer for 10 minutes.

To complement this dish, Japanese pickled cucumbers were specially made. Due to the short time, I made the simplest one. After cutting the cucumber, apply it directly with salt, cover it with plastic wrap, and let it sit in the refrigerator for 10 minutes before the water comes out. Add dried peppers. Very refreshing.
