Steps for Winter melon scallop soup

Peel the wax gourd and cut it into large pieces.

Soak dried mushrooms in water.

Peel and slice the carrot.

Wash the scallops and soak them in water.

Wash the soaked mushrooms.

Wash and shred the perilla leaves.

Add oil to the pan and stir-fry the carrot slices until fragrant.

Add the wax gourd slices.

Add mushrooms, scallops (along with water for soaking scallops) and water.

After boiling, add shredded perilla and reduce heat and simmer for about 20 minutes.
