Steps for babao rice

All raw materials are ready.

Wash the coix seeds first and soak for 2 hours.

Wash the lotus seeds.

Wash glutinous rice and soak in water for 2 hours.

Put the coix seed and lotus seeds into the pan and steam for 30 minutes

Put the glutinous rice into the pan and steam for 30 minutes.

Steamed glutinous rice.

Add sugar to the glutinous rice and stir well.

Drain the steamed coix seed.

Drain the lotus seeds.

Wash red dates, remove cores and cut into petals.

Dry clean the grapes, peel the longan, and cut the fruit bark into half-centimeter thick slices.

Place red dates, lotus seeds, raisins, longan meat, and fruit bark in the bottom of the bowl.

Add the coix seed.

Pour in half of the glutinous rice.

Press flat with a spoon.

Add a layer of lotus seeds.

Add another layer of glutinous rice, flatten it with a spoon and firm it.
