Braised white gourd

Steps for Braised white gourd

Peel the wax gourd and cut it into 4-cm squares; then use a cross knife on it, cut the mushrooms and peppers into grains, minced meat, minced ginger and garlic, and minced green onions.

Sit in a pot and heat the oil and fry the wax gourd until fragrant.

Pan-fry the wax gourd on both sides until slightly browned.

Remove the wax gourd for later use, re-heat the oil pan, and saute the ginger, garlic, and red pepper until fragrant.

Pour in the minced meat and stir-fry until oily and slightly yellow; then add in the minced mushrooms and stir-fry until fragrant.

Pour in the fried wax gourd, add salt and stir fry a few times.

Add water to drown half of the wax gourd seat, bring to a boil over high heat and turn to medium heat, add the spring onions, cover and continue to cook.

When the sauce is almost dry, add oyster sauce and chicken essence, shake the pan, and finally sprinkle with chopped green onion on a plate.
