glutinous rice lotus root
I was dizzy ~ When I went to do it, I realized that the lotus root had been eliminated for a while and was not complete ~~ I was dizzy, forget it, I don't know if potatoes can replace it! I decided to break the law, haha, and the result-I can't replace lotus root ~! But fortunately, even if it boils, it won't be a big deal ~ it's just not beautiful...

Steps for glutinous rice lotus root

1
Half a catty of glutinous rice (lazy solution: soak it before going to bed at night and use it at noon the next day)
2
Lotus root 1 section, shaved = beautiful + delicious ^^
3
Pour the soaked glutinous rice into each lotus root hole
4
I used 4-5 toothpicks to seal the seal. I should have used lotus root, but I couldn't find my lotus root, so I had to find Mr. Dongguo (half a potato) to fill it up ^^
5
3 large pieces of rock sugar, 5 tablespoons of brown sugar, 10 longan
6
Put 4.5 into the pressure cooker at the same time, add water (not over the lotus root), press for 20 minutes, cool naturally and remove it (my house is an electric pressure cooker, just choose a nutritious stew, simmer for a while longer to taste)

I forgot to take the whole picture and sliced it directly... The outer layer of the lotus root has turned red, but it doesn't look as thick as the restaurant. I don't know what methods they used, but I thought about it, maybe I didn't add enough brown sugar...

Lotus Root Starch ~ Use it next
9
Use the sugar water used to boil lotus root in the pot, add 2 tablespoons of lotus root flour and 2 tablespoons of sugar, open fire ~ stir well (the standard is that there are no lotus root flour bumps ~! It is recommended to put lotus root starch into the pot in advance and melt it)

Pour it on the chopped lotus root slices ~! OK, start eating!!glutinous rice lotus root Make Tips
Note: 1. I saw others on this site using piping bags for the filling. Since I didn't have one, I found a relatively sturdy plastic bag, such as a Bugles snack bag that my son was eating. I cut a small hole in one corner, aimed it at the lotus root holes, and used a chopstick to stuff the filling in. It wasn't too much effort and worked quite well. 2. You can also add red dates, longans, etc., as you wish. The amount of brown sugar and rock sugar is up to personal preference. 3. The brown sugar water can be used to cook porridge if you have any leftover soaked glutinous rice... absolutely no waste, haha.
