glutinous rice balls

Everyone calls it pearl meatballs, but I call it glutinous rice meatballs. Why... Because I like to put soy sauce in the meat filling, and the meatballs I make are darker in color and don't have the crystal clear white pearls. Hehe, I don't care what they call them, as long as they are delicious...

Steps for glutinous rice balls

Put the meat paste into a bowl, add chopped green onion and ginger, egg sesame oil, soy sauce, salt and chicken essence, stir well and marinate for 15 minutes.

Wash the glutinous rice in advance and soak it, remove and drain the water for later use.

Use chopsticks to stir vigorously in the same direction. until sticky.

Use your hands to knead the meat into small meatballs.

Put in glutinous rice and roll with a layer of rice.

Put the prepared glutinous rice meatballs into a plate and steam for 15 minutes over high heat.
