Steps for Watercress soup

Wash the watercress.

Peel the water chestnut, peel the carrot and cut it into hob pieces; remove the core of the red dates.

Pour water in the pot, remove the dragon bone and rinse it thoroughly.

Put carrot, water chestnut, red dates, ginger and dragon bone together into the pot, add appropriate amount of water to boil over high heat, and then turn to low heat and simmer for 1 hour.

Add the watercress after 1 hour.

Season with salt while drinking.
