Peanut Butter Muffins: A Simple Recipe Guide

Peanut butter muffins are a beloved treat, blending rich nutty flavor with a soft, tender texture. Here’s a straightforward recipe to bake them at home.

Ingredients:

- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour

- ½ cup granulated sugar

- 1 tsp baking powder

- ½ tsp baking soda

- ½ tsp salt

- 1 large egg

- ½ cup creamy peanut butter

- ½ cup milk (dairy or plant-based)

- ¼ cup melted butter or oil

- 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions:

1. Preheat & Prep: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a muffin tin with paper liners.

2. Dry Mix: In a bowl, whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

3. Wet Mix: In another bowl, beat the egg, then stir in peanut butter, milk, melted butter, and vanilla until smooth.

4. Combine: Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mix. Stir gently until just combined—do not overmix.

5. Bake: Divide batter evenly among the muffin cups. Bake for 18–20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

6. Cool: Let muffins cool in the tin for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.

Variations: Add chocolate chips, chopped nuts, or a swirl of jelly for extra flavor. Enjoy these muffins as a breakfast snack or afternoon pick-me-up—they’re best served warm with a glass of milk!
