How to Make Broccoli and Shrimp Stir-Fry

Broccoli and shrimp stir-fry is a quick, healthy, and delicious dish that’s perfect for busy weeknights. Packed with protein, vitamins, and vibrant flavors, it’s easy to customize and ready in under 30 minutes. Here’s a step-by-step guide to making it perfectly.

### Ingredients

- 500g fresh broccoli, cut into florets

- 300g large shrimp, peeled and deveined

- 2 cloves garlic, minced

- 1 tbsp ginger, grated

- 2 tbsp vegetable oil

- 2 tbsp soy sauce

- 1 tbsp oyster sauce

- 1 tsp sesame oil

- Salt and pepper to taste

- Optional: 1 tsp cornstarch (for thickening sauce)

### Instructions

1. Prep the ingredients: Rinse broccoli florets and blanch in boiling salted water for 2–3 minutes until tender-crisp. Drain and set aside. Pat shrimp dry and season with a pinch of salt and pepper.

2. Cook the shrimp: Heat 1 tbsp oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat. Add shrimp and stir-fry for 1–2 minutes until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside.

3. Sauté aromatics: In the same pan, add the remaining 1 tbsp oil. Sauté garlic and ginger until fragrant (about 30 seconds).

4. Stir-fry broccoli: Return broccoli to the pan. Toss with soy sauce and oyster sauce, cooking for 1–2 minutes to heat through.

5. Combine and finish: Add the cooked shrimp back to the wok. Drizzle with sesame oil and stir to coat. If desired, mix cornstarch with 1 tbsp water and add to thicken the sauce slightly. Cook for another minute until everything is heated through.

Serve hot over steamed rice or noodles. This dish balances crisp broccoli, succulent shrimp, and a savory umami sauce—simple yet satisfying!
