Many office workers and students who go to bed late and wake up in the morning often skip breakfast, and many simply don't eat it. Skipping breakfast is very harmful and has no benefits for the body, only disadvantages.
Corn and Egg Pancake
Corn and Egg Pancake
Ingredients: Fresh California corn, flour, green onions, carrots
Method:
1. Boil the corn for 10 minutes, cut off the kernels, and shred the carrots.
2. Put all the ingredients together and add a little salt.
3. When the oil is hot, pour in the batter and fry both sides until golden brown.
Coriander and Egg Crepe
Egg Crepe
Crepe ingredients: 1.5 cups of flour, 2 eggs, 1.5 cups of water, 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
Crepe method: Mix the above ingredients evenly. When the oil is hot, pour a large spoonful of batter into the pan, spread it evenly to cover the bottom, and make a thin crepe. The ingredients above can make three crepes.
Filling: I chose ingredients I had at home: iceberg lettuce, cucumber, cooked shrimp, spiced beef tendon, and the sauce was salad dressing. (You can add whatever you like, and the same goes for the sauce).
Spread the filling on the egg crepe, roll it up, shape it, and cut into pieces.
Ham and Vegetable Sandwich
Ingredients: White bread, ham slices, cucumber, salad dressing
Method:
1. Slice the bread and spread with salad dressing.
2. Place cucumber slices on top. Spread with salad dressing again, then add ham slices.
3. Repeat the stacking process. Finally, cut off the crusts and cut the sandwich in half.
You can choose your favorite cured meats, fried eggs, vegetables, fruits, etc., to put between the bread slices.
Japanese Onigiri (Triangle Rice Balls)
Triangle Rice Balls
Ingredients: Leftover rice, diced radish, diced shiitake mushrooms, fermented black beans, seaweed
Method:
1. Heat the leftover rice in the microwave on high for 1 minute. Take it out and mix with vinegar.
2. Add the diced radish to the rice and mix well.
3. Place plastic wrap on a cutting board, put the rice on it, and press flat. Add the diced shiitake mushrooms and fermented black beans.
4. Lift the four corners of the plastic wrap to form the rice into a ball, then shape it into a triangle. Stick a strip of seaweed on one side.
Notes:
1. The vegetables inside can be随意 (random/whatever you have); use whatever you have or whatever you want to eat.
2. You can use a triangle mold to shape it, or use the corner of a Lock & Lock container to shape it.
Yogurt, Fruit, and Oatmeal Cup
Ingredients: 60g oatmeal, 60g of various diced fruits, 40ml of yogurt (which is the same as yogurt)
Method:
1. Wash all the fruits, dice them, mix them evenly, and set aside.
2. Take a glass cup, put oatmeal in the bottom to 1/4 of the cup, add the mixed fruit dice to 1/2, then add more oatmeal to 3/4, and put the remaining fruit dice on top.
3. Finally, pour on the yogurt, sprinkle with some diced watermelon for decoration, and you can also insert a thin slice of cookie for decoration.
Oatmeal and Red Date Banana Porridge
Ingredients: One banana, half a bowl of instant oatmeal, a few red dates (Jujubes)
Method:
Bring water to a boil in a pot. After the water boils, add the banana, oatmeal, and red dates. Let it sit for a moment, then it's ready to eat.
Quick-Cooking Oatmeal Porridge
Ingredients: Quaker quick-cooking oatmeal, one box of pure milk, one egg, sugar (or salt if you prefer savory)
Method:
Boil the oatmeal with a small amount of water. Add the egg, sugar, and milk and cook for 2 minutes. (Note: the oatmeal will expand, so don't add too much at once).
Almond and Sesame Soy Milk
Almond Soy Milk
Ingredients: 20g almonds, 100g soybeans, 500g water, a little sugar
Method:
1. Wash the soybeans and soak them for 5 hours. Wash the almonds.
2. Cook the soybeans in water until tender, then add sugar and cook until the sugar dissolves.
3. While still hot, put the cooked soybeans and the water into a blender, add the almonds, and blend into soy milk to drink.
Banana Pancake
Ingredients: 200g pancake mix, one egg, 200cc milk
Method:
1. Mix the pancake mix with the egg and milk until smooth.
2. Peel and slice the banana and prepare some coarse chocolate chunks.
3. Heat a flat-bottomed pan, brush with a layer of butter, reduce the heat to low, pour a large spoonful of batter into the pan and let it spread naturally. Place banana slices and chocolate on top of the batter. When it slowly puffs up and the surface starts to dry, flip the pancake and cook for a little longer. Finally, drizzle with your favorite honey or syrup.
Egg Toast
Ingredients: One slice of toast, one egg
Method:
1. Take a shallow dish, place the toast on it, and crack the egg onto the toast. (It's best if the toast has a slight depression in the middle, so the egg is stable and the white won't run out).
2. Take a toothpick and poke the surface of the yolk.
3. Use a dry slice of toast, not a moist one. Or, heat it in the microwave for half a minute first. If you don't mind the trouble, toasting it is best. Then cover it with a plastic lid and microwave for 1 minute/700W. I like it medium-well with a slightly runny yolk; for fully cooked, add another 10 seconds.
