Steps for Sixi Roast Bran

Roasted bran: Wash the dry roasted bran with water 2-3 times, soak the roasted bran in warm water for about 1 hour, cut it into small 2 cm square pieces, blanch and drain the water for later use. (It's best to choose the dry roasted bran from Shanghai for better taste)

Fungus: Wash the dried fungus with water 2-3 times, soak the fungus with warm water and add a little white sugar. After soaking, remove impurities and clean it, blanch and drain the water for later use.

Water-dried Olay slices: Wash and cut into comb slices, blanch and drain the water for later use.

Mushrooms: Wash the dried mushrooms with water 2-3 times, soak the mushrooms in warm water and add a little white sugar. After soaking, carefully wash off the impurities on the heads of the mushrooms. Remove the stalks and blanch them with water and drain the water.

Nuts: Wash the nuts with water 2-3 times, place them in a pot and add appropriate amount of water, add 1 star anise, 1 small piece of cinnamon, a little fennel seeds, and appropriate amount of salt, boil them on high heat for 2-3 times and immediately turn off the heat.
