Steps for mapo tofu

Cut the tofu into small pieces, cut the garlic sprouts, minced tempeh, minced ginger and garlic. Set aside.

Heat the oil, add in the meat to smooth and disperse.

Add fermented beans, ginger and garlic, star anise, and pepper once and stir fry.

Add Pi County bean paste and a little Haitian sauce and continue to stir fry.

Add water, bring to a boil, and add a little pepper oil to make the color more beautiful.

Add tofu and simmer over low heat. The longer it takes, the better it will taste. At least 15 minutes, add salt and sugar to taste.
