Cranberry Margarita Recipe Guide

The Cranberry Margarita is a festive twist on the classic cocktail, blending tart cranberry with zesty lime for a refreshing, holiday-perfect drink. Here’s a simple guide to crafting it at home.

### Ingredients (for 1 serving):

- 2 oz tequila ( blanco or reposado recommended)

- 1 oz fresh lime juice

- ¾ oz cranberry juice (not cranberry cocktail)

- ½ oz triple sec or orange liqueur

- 1 tbsp cranberry sauce (whole berry or jellied, for sweetness)

- Salt or sugar for rimming (optional)

- Ice cubes

- Cranberries and lime wheel for garnish

### Instructions:

1. Rim the Glass (Optional):

Moisten the rim of a margarita glass with lime juice, then dip in salt or sugar for a decorative touch. Chill the glass in the fridge.

2. Mix the Cocktail:

In a shaker, combine tequila, lime juice, cranberry juice, triple sec, and cranberry sauce. Fill the shaker with ice, then shake vigorously for 15–20 seconds until well-chilled.

3. Serve:

Strain the mixture into the prepared glass over fresh ice. Garnish with a few fresh cranberries and a lime wheel.

### Variations:

- Spiced: Add a pinch of cinnamon or a cinnamon stick to the shaker for warmth.

- Frozen Blend: Replace ice with 1 cup crushed ice and blend all ingredients for a slushy version.

- Virgin Mocktail: Omit tequila and triple sec; increase cranberry and lime juice for a vibrant non-alcoholic option.

This vibrant cocktail balances sweet, tart, and citrusy notes, making it ideal for gatherings or cozy nights. Cheers!
