Mini Sausage Rolls: A Simple & Delicious Recipe

Mini sausage rolls are a crowd-pleasing snack, perfect for parties, lunches, or quick bites. Here’s an easy, step-by-step guide to making them from scratch.

Ingredients:

- 1 sheet of puff pastry (thawed)

- 8-10 cocktail sausages (or sliced regular sausages)

- 1 egg (beaten, for washing)

- Optional: Sesame seeds, grated cheese, or herbs for topping

Steps:

1. Preheat & Prep: Heat your oven to 200°C (400°F). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.

2. Prepare Pastry: Unroll the puff pastry and cut it lengthwise into 4 even strips.

3. Add Sausages: Place a sausage (or a few slices) at the edge of each pastry strip. Roll the pastry tightly around the sausage, sealing the edge with a little water or beaten egg.
