How to Make Seaweed and Pork Floss Twists

Seaweed and pork floss twists are a beloved snack, loved for their crispy texture and savory flavor. Here’s a simple recipe to make them at home.

Ingredients:

- 200g all-purpose flour

- 2 tbsp sugar

- 1 tsp salt

- 1 egg

- 80ml milk

- 30g melted butter

- 1 tsp yeast (optional for softer dough)

- Seaweed sheets (finely chopped)

- Pork floss (to taste)

- Egg wash (1 egg + 1 tbsp milk)

Steps:

1. Prepare the dough: Mix flour, sugar, salt, and yeast in a bowl. Add the egg, milk, and melted butter. Knead into a smooth dough, then let it rest for 30 minutes.

2. Shape the twists: Roll the dough into a thin rectangle. Brush with egg wash, sprinkle seaweed and pork floss evenly, then roll it up tightly. Cut into 1-2cm thick strips.

3. Bake: Preheat the oven to 180°C. Place the twists on a baking sheet, brush with more egg wash, and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
