How to Make Stir-Fried Pork: A Simple Guide

Stir-fried pork is a quick, delicious dish loved for its tender meat and bold flavors. Here’s a basic guide to mastering it at home.

Ingredients:

- 200g pork loin, thinly sliced

- 2 tbsp soy sauce

- 1 tbsp starch (for marinating)

- 1 bell pepper, sliced

- 1 onion, chopped

- 2 cloves garlic, minced

- 1 tbsp cooking oil

- Salt, sugar, and pepper to taste

Steps:

1. Marinate the pork: Mix sliced pork with soy sauce, starch, and a pinch of pepper. Let it sit for 15 minutes to tenderize.

2. Prep veggies: Chop bell pepper, onion, and garlic. Keep them handy for quick cooking.

3. Stir-fry: Heat oil in a wok over high heat. Add pork and stir-fry until browned (2–3 minutes). Remove and set aside.

4. Sauté veggies: In the same wok, stir-fry garlic until fragrant, then add onion and bell pepper. Cook for 2 minutes until slightly crisp.

5. Combine: Return pork to the wok. Add a pinch of salt and sugar, toss everything together, and cook for 1 more minute.

Tips:

- Use high heat for a “wok hei” (smoky) flavor.

- Don’t overcrowd the pan—cook in batches if needed.

- Customize with chili flakes, oyster sauce, or carrots for extra flair.

Serve hot with rice for a satisfying meal! Enjoy your homemade stir-fried pork.
