How to Make Stir-Fried Oyster Mushrooms with Pork Slices

Stir-fried oyster mushrooms with pork slices is a quick, delicious, and nutritious dish loved for its tender texture and umami flavor. Here’s a simple guide to making it at home.

Ingredients: 200g fresh oyster mushrooms, 150g pork loin, 2 cloves garlic (sliced), 1 green pepper (sliced), 1 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tsp oyster sauce, 1 tsp starch, salt, pepper, and cooking oil.

Steps:

1. Prep the ingredients: Clean the mushrooms, tear them into bite-sized pieces, and pat dry. Slice the pork thinly, then marinate in 1 tsp soy sauce, starch, a pinch of salt, and pepper for 10 minutes.

2. Stir-fry the pork: Heat oil in a wok over medium-high heat. Add pork slices and stir-fry until no longer pink. Remove and set aside.

3. Cook the mushrooms: In the same wok, add a little oil, sauté garlic until fragrant. Toss in the mushrooms and stir-fry for 3–4 minutes until they release water and soften.

4. Combine and season: Return the pork to the wok. Add green pepper, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and a pinch of sugar. Stir-fry for 1–2 minutes until everything is well-coated. Adjust seasoning if needed.

5. Serve: Transfer to a plate and enjoy hot with steamed rice.

This versatile dish can be customized with other veggies like carrots or onions, making it a perfect weeknight meal!
