Hot and sour noodles have attracted many loyal diners with their unique "sour","spicy","hemp" and "fragrant" characteristics, and I am one of them. I know that it is difficult to reassure people about the hygiene of the snacks on the street, but I can't hold my legs. I am often attracted by the bowl of hot and sour noodles and walk into that small shop. The store is not big, but the business is booming! There is no way, the smell... "Tsk ~ Tsk ~" It's really tempting to eat it. It's delicious! It's spicy! Sour and refreshing! It's so exciting! Eat in winter to warm you up, and eat in summer to appease you... For this hobby, I can eat more safely, so I'd better learn to cook it yourself.

China has a vast territory, a large population, and different customs. There are also many ways to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival and have strong local characteristics. As far as my hometown is concerned, Chaoshan people have many customs on Mid-Autumn Festival, such as worshiping the moon, swinging, burning smoke piles, and burning pottery towers. Especially in Chaoshan rural areas, the custom of burning pottery towers is a traditional custom for men, women and old to participate in and adjust the Mid-Autumn Festival atmosphere on the full moon night.
During the Mid-Autumn Festival, the "moon sacrifice" of the trendy people is commonly known as the "moon worship mother", which is the highlight of the Mid-Autumn Festival night. On the night of August 15th, every household, big or small, rich or poor, will place a table full of offerings on the balcony or on the doorway where the moon can be seen. All kinds of pomelo, bananas, apples, lotus mist, cherizi and other fruits, plus Chaoshan mooncakes, cloud slices, taro cakes, etc., light large candles and high incense after you are ready to wait for the moon to rise slowly. When praying for the moon, we all hope that the consummated moon will bring beauty to the world. Therefore, every night, candlelight will be lit on the balconies of each household. Since ancient times, it has become a traditional custom in Chaoshan to worship the moon during the Mid-Autumn Festival to pray for peaceful reunion throughout the year.
In addition to "worshiping the moon", there is also a larger event in the suburbs or countryside-burning towers. Legend has it that from the late Yuan Dynasty, during the local anti-Yuan uprising, it was agreed to ignite the fire on the night of August 15. Since then, this custom has continued to this day. When burning the tower, a tower was built with tiles and bricks on the open space of the square, with dried wood pieces placed in the middle. When the full moon was full, the wood in the tower was lit to make the entire brick tower burn redder and more brightly. People gathered around the tower. Sprinkle sea salt into the tower, making a crackling sound to add to the fun, and then set off fireworks. Children played beside the tower, and adults enjoyed the moon and ate mooncakes. The scene was lively and lively. Sometimes some towns will hold tower burning competitions to see who has the tallest tower and burns the most. Unfortunately, this activity can only be held in the suburbs or surrounding towns now. To watch the tower burning, you have to take a bus to the suburbs or seaside resorts. However, it is worth the distance to see such a lively scene.
On this year's Mid-Autumn Festival night, many resorts and scenic spots in Shantou will continue to scale up this ancient custom and move it to the beach. They replaced the ancient tile towers with red brick towers, and used cement mixed with fine sand to stick the bricks firmly. Some of them were eight to nine meters high, like a huge and spectacular high-rise building. On the night of the full moon, tourists from all directions gather on the beach to watch the giant red brick tower with the fire shining into the sky complement each other with the sea and the bright moon, and experience the fun of "burning the tower" during the Chaoshan Mid-Autumn Festival. This upgraded version of the Mid-Autumn Festival custom has become popular among more and more tourists.

Because it was difficult to get a ticket during the Muli New Year, I returned to Indonesia early on the 30th of the Muli New Year.

After the driver sent me back to my dormitory, I happily spent my New Year. I also put Anlida back to Medan. I was the only one left in the huge space, and I had to live alone for 5 days.

The refrigerator had been emptied before the vacation, so fresh fruits and vegetables were naturally nowhere to be seen. Fortunately, there were still food in the freezer, onions and potatoes on the kitchen floor, and a few small peppers in the pickled cabbage box.

Don't blame me for eating meat every day. I don't eat meat, so I really have nothing to eat.

A small dried duck leg was given to me by a friend last time. It looked so thin and thin, so I took the initiative to mix half of Mom's Love Brand black pepper sausage, and cut the small potatoes into small bits. In order not to lack vitamins, I also cut a small onion. Onions are a good thing. Not to mention other things, their delicacy can also neutralize the bitterness and saltiness of cured meat.
