Cranberry cookies are a delightful treat, loved for their buttery richness and tart-sweet balance. Here’s a straightforward recipe to create these delicious treats at home.

Ingredients:

- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened

- 1 cup granulated sugar

- 2 large eggs

- 1 tsp vanilla extract

- 3 cups all-purpose flour

- 1/2 tsp salt

- 1/2 tsp baking powder

- 1 cup dried cranberries

Steps:

1. Preheat & Prep: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. Cream Butter & Sugar: In a large bowl, beat softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy (about 3 minutes).

3. Add Wet Ingredients: Beat in eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla extract.

4. Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk flour, salt, and baking powder. Gradually add this to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.

5. Fold in Cranberries: Gently stir in dried cranberries.

6. Shape & Bake: Drop tablespoon-sized dough balls onto the baking sheet. Bake for 12–15 minutes until edges turn golden.

7. Cool: Let cookies cool on the sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.

Tips: For extra flavor, add orange zest or white chocolate chips. Store in an airtight container for up to a week. Enjoy these chewy, tangy cookies with tea or coffee!
